28 diciembre people's attitudes towards workWhen we talk about work, we may think up many things arround work. But acctually, who can give the work an exact definition? So, it leads us to consider what role work plays in our life.
Some people said, I worked because I had to get paid and maintain my family. Meanwhile, others argued that work was not the means to an end, but showed their competence and received esteem. By many means, a purpose of work is very clear, which is earning money to fulfilled their physical needs.
In order to find out people's attitudes towards work, I designed a questionnaire to hunt down the answer. Totally, there were then people gave the answers. Four of them are between 18 to 25 years old; Also another four are between 26 to 50 years old; And the remain two people are above 50. The conclusion: There is no doubt that earning money to maintain their basic existence is the essential purpose of work.And it is clear that people's attitudes to work, requares the following hierarchy of human needs presented by Abraham Maslow to be fulfilled (most basic first):
1.Physical Needs: air, water, food, clothing, shelter, comfort, etc.
2.Safety Needs: job security, retirement plan, insurance, avoidance of risks, harm and pain
3.Social Needs:companionship, acceptance, love and affection, group membership.
4.Esteen Needs:responsibility, respect, recognition, sense of accomplishment.
5.Self Realization Needs: creativity, independence, reaching your potential.
Meanwhile, the young people expecially from 18 to 25 years old, never looked on work as fitting their self realization needs. At most, and only one forth people considered it as esteem need. But, the people who have more experence, most are above 25 would feel work fit themself realization needs. The bigger their ages are, the stronger the sense of them feel.
A man in 35 years old was at the mention of work was not only a chore he need to do to get paid, but an opportunity to learn, contribute, grow, make friends, solve problems, overcome obstacles and experience victories. Even more, for many who build successful enterprises, their business is their identify. It is said of one woman business owner, still in control in her 70s that "work is her oxygen". Why the people uphold their work? In large measure, abanden work means losing esteem, losing power, losing everything which sactisfies their mental requirement. And, 100% young people during 18-25, thought work is merely the means to an end-money-and not an end in itself.
So, it leads to anther question. Do you "work to live"or "live to work". The former shows work as a means to an end-enjoying life outside the work enviroment; the latter shows the dedicated individal whose life is their work. So they enjoy their work as enjoy their life and they obtain their self realization needs from work. The result of questionnaire to this question gave the fifty-fifty answer. And that is neutral and cannot be predicted. Some of us, begun with "work to live", dend with "live to work"; others, begun with "live to work", end on the contray. Our inability to predict the purpose of work is no reason to cease working when th eages coming.
No matter what's the other's purpose, in a sense, work is an approach to fulfill our needs. So, after realizing work to earn money for the sheer necessity of sustainting life, we should learn more from work and try to enjoy our wor as a satiable appetite. By many means, work taillors to our aspiration, take it easy. 26 diciembre 平安夜好平安原来不知不觉间，我地参参差差感一齐走过左两年半。

12 diciembre 有幸参加2006中国（广州）国际记录片大会评优揭晓仪式电视晚会 2006.12.9，冻到死，不过真是好开心同兴奋，参加左在中山纪念堂举行的2006中国（广州）国际记录片大会评优揭晓仪式电视晚会。
其实电视来讲，做记录片的人是最有深度同内涵的了。今次见到好多国际大师，中影左相，真是好开心，好兴奋。
当中最深印象噶是一个由18岁导演拍噶获奖作品《午餐时间》，仅三分钟，就将今次大会噶主题：关注贫困，发挥得淋漓尽致。中有另外一个作品，拍摄小女孩揽住屋企只狗哀求父母吾好卖噶个个镜头，真是将记录片的主题，刻画得入目三分，精彩绝伦。
今次好高兴，可以同到在今次获得特别贡献大奖噶法国著名制片人Jean-Michel carre影相同交谈，中有最佳导演奖噶波兰导演Alexandras Jansse合影谈话，真是万分万分荣幸。

大病初愈合，
又要开始搏杀～
快乐是短暂，一闪而过后，
就像电池充了电，然后还是要继续工作.....

谢谢你在我身边...... 04 diciembre I change my English name~虽然我已经有好多英文名，例如，Yaya，Ulier, UU啊，咁，但是，毕竟，都是D好吾正规噶英文名....在我21岁生日即将来临之际，我决定帮自己改过一个正式D噶英文名，Yolanda~不过当然，大家依然可以叫翻你地叫开我噶个个英文名，但是以后做野，或者结识新朋友，我就会用衣个了，亦都是见证我成长的一件大事......
